Design Perspective

Design surrounds every moment of human life — most people just don't see it yet. My job is to make sure they feel it, even if they never notice it.

EXPERIENCE
And This Is My Career
2024 – PRESENT  |  FULL-TIME
UI/UX Designer
Pilabz Electromechanicals System Pvt. Ltd.
(Subsidiary of Zoho)
Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu

Pilabz is an R&D–driven electromechanical product company building hardware and software solutions across EV simulation, industrial instrumentation, and robotics — operating as a subsidiary of Zoho Corporation.

Joined as the sole designer across the entire organisation — owning design end-to-end across SaaS platforms, IoT hardware companions, robotics interfaces, and internal tooling. Worked cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership across multiple simultaneous products. Currently designing a cloud-based CAD simulation platform.

UI/UX Design Intern
Tentacle Technologies
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Tentacle Technologies is a Malaysia-based technology consulting and software development company serving clients across Malaysia and globally.

Worked on a client product - Artoons was a B2C platform where kids could showcase and sell their artwork — with parents on the buying side. I owned the research phase end-to-end: understanding what motivated young creators, what made the buying experience trustworthy for parents, and synthesising those findings into design insights. From there I contributed through wireframes, visual design, and prototype under a lead designer. First product I worked on. It taught me two things early: designing for kids means legible and genuinely fun, not just colourful — and design without research is just guessing.

ABOUT ME
And This Is Me

I grew up wanting to be a fashion designer. My parents had other plans — IT was booming, and the decision was made for me. So I studied IT. And somewhere inside that degree, I stumbled into UI/UX design. Same instinct, different canvas.

I'm self-taught. No design school, no bootcamp — just mentors, relentless feedback, and real products. When I decide I want to figure something out, I don't stop until I do. That stubbornness has taken me through robotics interfaces, simulation platforms, IoT dashboards, and autonomous robot systems — domains where there's no template and very little margin for guesswork.

Three years in, still learning, still creating, still understanding users. I believe no AI can match the level of human thinking, empathy, and design taste that goes into truly understanding people — and that's what keeps this work meaningful.

About Beeulah
Values I design by

The way I work is shaped as much by how I think as what I make. These are the principles I come back to when things get complex or ambiguous.

01 Understand before design. I never open Figma before I understand the problem. Who's using this, in what context, under what pressure? The interface is the last thing I think about — not the first.
02 Clarity over cleverness. A beautiful screen that confuses people is a failed screen. I'd rather ship something simple that works than something impressive that doesn't.
03 Own the whole problem. As a solo designer, I learned that design doesn't stop at handoff. I stay involved — in edge cases, in developer questions, in what actually ships. That's where real craft happens.

What I do when I'm not designing

Dance has been with me since third standard — I perform, I choreograph, and it's still the place I'm happiest. That same need to create something with my hands carried into other parts of my life too. Custom cakes have been my weekend obsession for five years. Every order is different — someone comes with a feeling, and I turn it into something they didn't know they could ask for. It's the work I'm most proud of showing people who've never heard of UX, and somehow it's still the thing people remember most when they meet me.

That need to make something entirely my own didn't stop there. Fashion design was a dream I couldn't chase formally — so I just never let it go entirely.
